Studio Yachiyo（スタジオヤチヨ、以下「開発者」）は、Chrome拡張機能「コピペ手帳」におけるデータの取り扱いを以下のとおり説明します。
1. 取り扱う情報と目的
利用者が保存・入力した本文、意味、カテゴリ、保存日時、取得元ページのURL・タイトルを、保存・検索補助・表示・編集・コピー・重複確認・共有・Markdown連動のために扱います。操作に応じて、選択したページの文字を取得します。常時の閲覧監視や閲覧履歴全体の取得は行いません。意味の入力途中の下書き、保留中の重複候補、言語設定、連動設定、共有状態、共有データの取り込み記録、操作通知も保存します。
2. 端末内での保存
手帳データと設定はChromeプロフィール内のローカルストレージに保存します。選択したファイル・フォルダーへのアクセス情報と、Markdownを書き換える前のノート全体のバックアップはIndexedDBに保存します。バックアップは追記先ノートごとに直近5世代を保持します。バックアップには手帳外の文章も含まれることがあります。
開発者は、手帳データを受信する独自サーバー、広告、アクセス解析・利用状況計測を本バージョンに組み込んでいません。拡張機能内のローカルデータを開発者が自動で閲覧する仕組みはありません。端末内の保存について、独自暗号化や端末の利用者間でのアクセス分離を保証するものではありません。
3. 利用者の操作による外部サービス・ファイルへの送信
- Google検索：「意味を調べる」を押すと、本文の最初の空でない行を最大100文字まで使い、日本語では「とは」、英語では「meaning」を付けた検索語をGoogle検索へ送信します。ページ全体や手帳全件を検索のために送ることはありません。Google側では同社のポリシーが適用されます。https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Markdown連動：利用者が選択して書き込みを許可したMarkdownファイルへ、本文・意味・元URL・日時などを書き込みます。保存先を同期サービスで管理している場合は、そのサービスの設定に従ってファイルが同期されることがあります。
- 書き出し・共有：利用者の操作でJSONファイルを書き出します。フォルダー共有を有効にすると、選択したフォルダーへ手帳データを含む専用JSONを作成・更新し、他の共有JSONを読み取ります。本文・意味・カテゴリ・元URL・ページタイトル・日時・表示状態・項目IDなどが含まれます。Google Drive、OneDrive、Git管理などによる送信は利用者側のファイル管理設定に依存し、この拡張機能が各サービスへ直接サインインして同期する仕組みではありません。
- 元ページを開く：保存された元リンクを開いた場合、そのサイトへ通常のブラウザーアクセスが発生します。
機密情報・認証情報などを保存・検索・共有する前に、送信先と内容を確認してください。共有ファイルは暗号化されていないJSONです。選択した共有フォルダーにアクセスできる人やサービスは、その内容を読むことができます。
4. 第三者提供・販売
開発者は、本拡張機能で扱うデータを販売せず、広告配信、信用評価、融資判断などに利用しません。利用は本ポリシーに記載した利用者向け機能の提供・改善に限定し、Chrome ウェブストアのユーザーデータポリシー（Limited Use要件を含む）に従います。利用者が選ぶ外部サービス・共有先による処理は、各サービスの規約・ポリシーと共有設定にも従います。
5. データの管理・削除
手帳の項目は拡張機能内で編集・削除できます。項目を削除しても、すでに書き込んだMarkdownや書き出し済み・共有済みJSONは削除されません。自動共有を停止しても、フォルダー内に作成済みのファイルは残ります。他の端末の共有ファイルから項目が再取り込みされることもあります。
拡張機能内の全ローカルデータ（下書き・バックアップ等を含む）を削除するには、必要なデータを書き出したうえでChromeから拡張機能を削除してください。外部ファイル、同期サービスの履歴、別端末のコピー、ダウンロード済みファイルは、それぞれ別途管理・削除する必要があります。保存・保持の期間は、利用者の操作、Chrome、ファイル保存先の設定にも依存します。
6. ノートへの書き込みと競合
拡張機能は排他書き込みを要求し、取得後と確定直前にファイルの内容を再確認します。競合を検知するとノートへの反映を中止し、手帳内の項目は残します。本文・意味・リンクに内部の記録用目印が含まれる場合も、ノートへの書き込みを中止します。
別プロフィールやObsidianなどの外部アプリと同じノートを同時に編集しないでください。別プロフィール・外部アプリとは共通のロックや原子的な比較更新を保証できず、最終確認と確定の間の変更を完全には防げません。
7. お問い合わせと変更
お問い合わせは、Chrome ウェブストアの「コピペ手帳」掲載ページに表示される開発者の連絡先をご利用ください。
メールで送った内容と送信元アドレスは、問い合わせへの対応のために取り扱います。必要のない機密情報や手帳全件を送らないでください。機能やデータの取り扱いを変更する場合は、本ポリシーを更新し、必要に応じてストア説明や拡張機能内で案内します。
Copipe Notebook Privacy Policy

Studio Yachiyo (スタジオヤチヨ, the developer) explains how the Chrome extension Copipe Notebook handles data below.
1. Data and purposes
The extension handles text and meanings you save or enter, categories, saved dates, and source page URLs and titles to provide saving, lookup assistance, display, editing, copying, duplicate checks, sharing and Markdown integration. It captures selected text when you request it. It does not continuously monitor browsing or retrieve your entire browsing history. It also stores meaning drafts, pending duplicate candidates, language and integration settings, sharing status, import receipts and operation notices.
2. Local storage
Notebook data and settings are stored in local storage within your Chrome profile. Access handles for selected files and folders, and full-note backups made before Markdown writes, are stored in IndexedDB. Up to five recent backup versions are kept for each destination note. Backups may include text outside notebook entries.
This version includes no developer-operated server for receiving notebook data, advertising or usage analytics. The developer has no automatic means to view the extension’s local data. Local storage does not provide a guarantee of additional application-level encryption or isolation between people using the same device.
3. User-directed external services and files
- Google Search: Clicking Look up meaning sends a Google search query based on the first non-empty line of the item, limited to 100 characters, followed by “とは” in Japanese or “meaning” in English. It does not send the full webpage or the entire notebook for the lookup. Google processes the query under its own policies: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Markdown integration: The extension writes text, meanings, source URLs, dates and related entry information to a Markdown file you select and authorize. If a separate service syncs that location, the file may be transmitted according to that service’s settings.
- Export and sharing: You can export JSON files. When folder sharing is enabled, the extension creates or updates a dedicated JSON file containing notebook data in your chosen folder and reads other shared JSON files there. The files include text, meanings, categories, source URLs, page titles, dates, visibility flags and item IDs. Transfer through Google Drive, OneDrive, Git or another file-management service depends on your own configuration. The extension does not sign into these services to sync data directly.
- Opening source links: Opening a saved source link causes normal browser access to the destination website.
Check the content and destination before saving, searching or sharing confidential information or credentials. Shared files are unencrypted JSON. People and services with access to the sharing folder can read them.
4. Sharing and sale of data
The developer does not sell data handled by this extension or use it for advertising, creditworthiness or lending decisions. Use is limited to providing and improving the user-facing features described here and complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. Processing by external services and sharing destinations you choose also depends on their terms, policies and sharing settings.
5. Managing and deleting data
You can edit and delete notebook items within the extension. Deleting an item does not remove previously written Markdown entries or exported/shared JSON files. Stopping automatic sharing leaves files already created in the folder. An item may be imported again from another device’s shared file.
To remove all extension-local data, including drafts and backups, export anything you need and remove the extension through Chrome. External files, sync-service histories, copies on other devices and downloaded files must be managed or deleted separately. Retention also depends on your actions and the settings of Chrome and the file destination.
6. Note writes and conflicts
The extension requests an exclusive writer and rechecks file contents after acquiring it and just before committing. A detected conflict stops the note update and keeps the notebook item. Text, meanings or links containing reserved entry markers are also kept in the notebook without writing them to the note.
Do not edit the same note simultaneously in another profile or an external app such as Obsidian. Profiles and external applications do not share a guaranteed common lock or atomic compare-and-update mechanism. Changes between the final check and commit cannot be completely prevented.
7. Contact and changes
For inquiries, use the developer contact details displayed on the Copipe Notebook listing in the Chrome Web Store.
Information and the sender address you provide by email are used to respond to your inquiry. Do not send unnecessary confidential information or your entire notebook. If features or data handling change, this policy will be updated and notices will be provided in the listing or extension where appropriate.
